This retrospective exhibition shows the philosophy of the « merriment of fragmentation » that is visible in Will Beckers’ work across various mediums and time frames.
“Sometimes it is necessary to break everything before seeing the direction that the work needs to go, then you begin again and the result is even more powerful than you could have imagined.”, explains Will.

After two years of work 'House of Nature' is completed and will become a Gateway to Bosland National Park.
'House of Nature' was created as a Landmark for Bosland National Park. The inspiration for the enormous sculpture comes from a land dune, a natural habitat found in Bosland.
“Polifinario” – Galandart, Hamont, Belgium, 2008
The “Polifinario” is a fictional species that was conceived by the famous Dutch comedian Toon Hermans. The animal was brought to life in the monologue in his show in 1980.
Will Beckers has taken the call of the “Polifinario” and instead of depicting the fictional bird itself, has given us a glimpse of his conceptual habitat. The floating installation, over twenty metres in length, was a suspended landscape. Materials from and around the location were used for the work.
