Into the Trees

Into the Trees, Bosland, Hechtel-Eksel, Belgium, 2011 It is bold to think that Man can work in a dominant way in Nature. Building with organic materials belongs to one of the primordial types of architecture. The proper command of the material gives the rhythmic lines that run homogeneously over the entire skin of the 40-meter-long sculpture, and are balanced here as it were in the air. Client: City Council Hechtel Eksel and Flemish Agency for Nature and Forest Advisory body: Agency Tourism Hechtel - Eksel and Bosland – Dries Gorissen In co-operation with: Technical service Hechtel Photography: Lemmert Photography
