Cross-over projects can be seen as an approach to bring people together in an intrinsic way and create a cross pollination between art, nature and working together in a respectful way.
These cross-over co-operations are part of existing large scale projects generally with councils and are realised with the local schools or population of that specific council as a final stage of the larger project to involve the local community and give them a sense of responsibility for the natural installation.
Will Beckers strives to work with natural materials in a positive, interactive and cooperative way. In his installation work he shows us the basic principles of Cradle to cradle, and recycling of natural materials.
The results of working on a project in co-operation are to encourage a group project, to increase the self esteem and creativity of individuals, to help people listen to the natural materials they are working with, and to create an appreciation of nature’s transience.
